Musma Museum
The Musma, Museum of Contemporary Sculpture Matera, preserves the sculptures of more than a century in a unique environment.
the structure of Palazzo Pomarici, a few steps from the Cathedral, like many noble buildings of the Sassi, has the lower part made up of caves. These environments make the Musma a unique and recognized museum among the most beautiful and important in Italy.
The Musma is the only museum in the cave and can boast national and international artists. The symbiosis between the environments carved out of the tuff and the works contained in them make this museum a magical place in which to immerse yourself.
