Church of San Francesco d’Assisi
The Church of San Francesco d’Assisi is a Baroque-style Catholic place of worship located in the central square of the same name. The first nucleus of the church was a small underground church that can be visited through a trap door from a chapel that contains a fresco of Pope Urban II in 1093. This church too has undergone several changes over time and has a Baroque style facade while the he interior has a single nave with several side chapels.
